SAFEGUARDING AT ROWLATTS HILL PRIMARY ACADEMY
The health, safety and welfare of all the people who either work or learn at Rowlatts Hill Primary Academy are of fundamental importance. We strive to provide a safe, secure and pleasant working and learning environment for every stakeholder involved with the school. The Governing Body, along with the LEA, takes full responsibility for protecting the health and safety of all children and members of staff.
We recognise that our parents send their children into school each day with the expectation that the school provides a secure environment in which their children can flourish. We therefore have to ensure that this expectation becomes reality.
We work with the police on Operation Encompass. This is a process used to inform schools when the police have attended an incident of domestic abuse where this has occurred in the home of a pupil.
